So, what's Emerson doing these days?!?! You can't even begin to understand how busy she keeps us! She is into EVERYTHING! She has been crawling for a few months now. She is pulling up and cruising. She is somewhat of a dare devil. Makes us crazy! Casey is convinced that she will start walking before Christmas. I kept trying to talk myself out of that thought, but over the last few days, I think I'm becoming a believer. She wants to stand....and ONLY wants to stand. Do not try to hold her and snuggle for an extended amount of time. Nope, she's not having it! The minute I walk in the door from work, she is at my feet and then attached to my pant leg...with only one hand. Again, making us super nervous. She absolutely loves books. "Puppers" is still her favorite. She loves her Bobo, but doesn't seem as interested as she was previously. She sounds like a monster 50% of the time...still not sure why she is so fascinated with changing the tone of her voice. She says "Mama", "Dada", and what sounds like "Hi". She talks often in her own language. She loves to eat what she sees others eating. Daddy and Eme often split an egg mcmuffin. She loves raisins and still has her fair share of puffs. She also really likes eating kidney beans...she may have a little of her mama after all! She waives hi and bye, with some coaxing of course. She has also started clapping her hands. Oh...and how could I forget....Emerson is sleeping through the night!!!!! Yippee! It only took her 9 months!! She goes to bed between 8 & 9 and is awake by 6ish.
She's becoming a big girl...makes me sad. Selfish reasons of course. I love my snuggle time and "Eme-kisses"!
