Track Out & Coronavirus

With the coronavirus taking over our track out fun, we had to get creative while "social distancing" from our friends. For my 40th birthday, Casey and the kids got me a bike. I finally have a bike and we can go on family bike rides. We did just that...one day totaling 13 miles. Our days have been filled with bike rides, hikes, runs, dog walks, basketball, crafts, pottery, board games, cooking/baking, reading and lots of tv time. We are unable to see friends, which makes some days very difficult. We have utilized FaceTime to help connect with friends and family during this difficult time. If I'm being honest, the kids have handled it better than me, at times. For someone who thrives on routine and control, this is tough. We are trying to make the best of the current situation and truly enjoying our time together, with time to ourselves when we feel it's necessary. The kids were supposed to track back in next week, so with the close of schools until at least May 15th, mama will become teacher. Well, not really, but our days will be much more structured and learning will ensue. Wish us all luck!
