Tisa & Brian bought a lake house on Lake Gaston and we spent 4th of July weekend with them on the lake. We had such a fun weekend hanging with family! We will for sure be making some super fun memories on the lake in the coming years. Lake Gaston has a boat parade for the 4th that we joined in on. All the boats were decorated and patriotic music was blasting. Good times on the lake.

Aunt T was nice enough to hang on to Gavin while floating so his leg wouldn't get wet. The week before the lake, Gavin fell off his scooter and scraped his leg up bad. The scrape turned into a pretty bad infection that we had to keep out of the lake water. Not an easy thing to do with a child!

A boat ride back to the house ended with a downpour. Several of the kids got into the console and we were left to take it. Nana may have been the funniest. Water was pelting us in the face so she tried covering her face with a towel to help. We laughed so hard the whole ride back.
