What she's doing now...

Eme is now 17 months old...wow, how time flies! She amazes us each and every day with all that she has learned in such a short amount of time.

Her vocabulary grows everyday. Some of the newest things she says include:

Outside (we hear this ALL too often!)

She also says her ABC's, with the help of Daddy ofcourse! Pink seems to be her favorite color...everything is "pink". She is particularly fond of playing outside! She likes to go for rides on her bike and play in the water. She seems to really enjoy all things outdoors...she is her father's child! She's the best at giving sloppy kisses and hugs with pats. She loves to love. She doesn't seem to be a shy child. When kids are around, she can't get enough of them. Personal space doesn't mean much to her! Her favorite food has definately got to be ketchup! She would eat it on everything if she could.

Sounds perfect...right?!!? Well, she has grown quite a temper too! She hears the word NO all too often and, well, she doesn't seem to like it. She will start to do something she knows she shouldn't, look back at you, and then say "no, no, no" while pointing her finger. It's actually really funny to see, but we have to try and hold back our laughter. Sometimes that's easier said than done. She has been known to bite and bang her head on the hardwoods. Casey and I just look at each other in amazement! Is this our sweet Eme girl?!?! I have to keep reminding myself that it's a stage she will go through and hopefully not be in it for long! She knows how to test our patience...for sure. She has a way about her though...just one look is all it takes and she puts a smile on your face.

Some of my favorite things she does:
*I love to watch her feed the ducks. For some reason 10% goes to the ducks and 90% to Eme!
*I love when she makes her silly faces and does "strong girl".
*Watching her run and giggle as Daddy chases her around the house.

Some of Daddy's favorites:
*Hugs with pats.
*Hearing her laugh.
*He loves that she is able to recognize what a fish and doe are. (Really, did he just say that?!?!)

She's a sweet girl with a wonderful personality. She couldn't be any more special and we fall in love with her more and more every day!
