We are all doing well. Casey seems to be enjoying his new job. He is busy at work and has even started working out again. He spends his lunch hour in the gym there at Red Hat. I am busy with the kids and working on the weekends. I'm working nights, leaving most Saturday mornings to spend with the family.
Emerson and Gavin have grown so much. It is so hard to believe! Emerson will be starting preschool at the beginning of September. She is so ready...Mommy, not so much. We decided to start her this year, as opposed to next year, as we had planned. We actually thought she might benefit from the interaction with the other kids and the teachers. We have also been working on potty training! She is doing great. We are so proud of how fast she seemed to grasp the idea. She is wearing panties...super cute I must say. She is still in a diaper at nap and at night. She has had a few accidents here and there, but for the most part, she is "peepeeing on the potty like a big girl"! The whole "I can't believe how much they are growing" really rings true when I see my sweet baby girl walking around in panties!
Gavin has turned into a little boy over night. He is running everywhere! He loves his big sister. They are playing so well together now. She is his second mama. She often loves him til it hurts...literally. Gavin loves to eat. If you know my child, you know how often he is asking to eat. He says/signs please, thank you, more, ba (meaning drink), and eat. His vocabulary has really started to take off. He loves to be outside...maybe even more than Eme.
There you have it...a short update on what we are up to! Here's a few pictures of the kids.
Gavin hangin' out on the stoop!
He's all boy! Check out the adorable curls...my favorite!
Eme full of smiles!
She might be the cutest girl on the potty!
