My dad and his family were planning a trip from Ohio to Williamsburg over the summer. Casey, the kids, and I were able to meet up with them for a few days. It's hard to explain to Emerson and Gavin why we don't get to see everyone that often. They think of Ohio like Durham...just a few minutes away. (They have a better understanding now. I'll get to that in the next post.) We were very excited to see everyone and can't thank my dad and Viangie enough for inviting us. We just wish the trip could have ended differently.
