Gavin started soccer this year, along with Emerson. In Gavin's first game, he played against Ellie. We tried to get them on the same team, but were unsuccessful. Gavin jumped right in and looked like he was having a great time. He dribbles the ball with a lot more ease than Emerson. He seems to be a bit more of a natural when it comes to soccer. The team practices for the first 30 minutes and then they play the last 15 minutes against another team. The coach is great and makes it really fun for the kids. Gavin has scored a couple goals so far. We had to explain to him that it was okay to take the ball away from the other team! After his first goal, he had a huge smile on his face and ran off the field to give me a high five. So cute!
