This past Friday was early release for the kids. We went back and forth about going to the fair that afternoon or wait until the next morning....there was slight chance of rain for Friday. We decided to go and hope we didn't get wet. We got there and the rain started to fall about 20 minutes later. We grabbed a bite to eat and sat at a table, under a canopy. The rain only lasted a short while and then was gone for the rest of the afternoon/evening. Gavin was into the games this year, while Emerson wanted to ride rides...or did she?! The kids got on the first ride and they were both in tears not 2 seconds in. Emerson said she felt like she was going to fall out. Gavin finally stopped crying and actually enjoyed the ride. Emerson, however, did not. We decided to stick to the less crazy rides from then out. We rode on the Ferris Wheel and I, once again, was the biggest chicken! I hate heights. Not a fan. At all. The things you'll do for your kids. We ate our share of yummy food and then walked around for a while. It started to actually get chilly and we decided to call it a night. Special thanks to the guy on the bike for getting us to our car. My feet were killing me!
