As each year passes, it's even more surreal that this child is mine. Once a tiny baby who made me a mom, now an 8 year old girl growing more beautiful each and every day. She has her mama's attitude and her daddy's features. She cares deeply for others and her love language is gift giving. She is all things girly, but "shows the boys how it's done" while playing soccer at school. She does not enjoy reading, but enjoys writing and creating her own stories and illustrations. She is tall and skinny, with legs for days. Freckles on her face and dimples that make me smile. Some days can be hard, for me and for her. She is growing, testing boundaries and may have a bit of her mama's sass. She is changing every day and I'm beyond blessed that she is mine.
