The kids went to camp for a week during their summer break. It was a half day camp and they absolutely loved it. We will definitely do it again next year. They got to hike, fish, see animals, practice archery and much more. They always got in the car excited to tell me what they did that day. Even Emerson, who wasn't so sure about camp, got in the car the first day and said how great it was. So glad they enjoyed it!
Every kids right of passage. Selling lemonade. My mom's sweet neighbors were great. After sitting for a few minutes, he couldn't take it and started going door to door. :)
This girl might be like her mama.
We visited Nana at work to celebrate her and PawPaw's anniversary.
The kids kind of took over her office.
We went bowling for the 2nd time ever. Both kids are super competitive and after game number 2, we decided it was time to go. It was beginning to get ugly when a certain child was having trouble bowling strikes. Nice way to spend the afternoon though. I should have taken the picture INSIDE the bowling alley. :)
This sweet girl had a streak going where she would sneak into our room after we tucked her in. We would go up to get in bed and find her either in our bed or in the recliner. She's getting a bit heavy to carry to her bed! She looks pretty sweet though. We'll miss this one day.
