Casey's parents were nice enough to let us use the condo for the week of July 4th! We had such a great time. The kids loved being on the beach so much that we spent very little time at the pool. The weather was perfect too. We took the boat out the weekend before the 4th and picked up some of Casey's coworkers. We rode the boat to dinner and then watched fireworks at Mary's house. Riding the boat back, we were able to see the fireworks from multiple spots around Surf City. The night of the 4th we decided to stay at the condo. We went out on the beach and St. Regis did their own fireworks show. A few times we took the boat out and were able to see dolphin swimming in the evening. They are so beautiful! We had an eventful ride in the rain and that ended our time on the boat. The rest of the trip we enjoyed the beach and friends....good friends ended up 4 beach houses down from us! Having the Daley's so close was great! We really lucked out. The kids started school the following Monday, so back to Raleigh we went.
