This past Memorial Day weekend we joined our friends in the Outer Banks. What a great weekend! The Simpson's and Herron's were nice enough to invite us to their uncle's house for the holiday weekend. The kids were so excited. We picked them up a little early from school and headed towards the beach. We hung out at the beach, rode around on the boat, fished, watched the big fish being brought in, played an interesting game of cards (adults only), enjoyed good food/drinks and played laser tag to wrap up the weekend.

Laser Tag! This was before the action...and the blood. Haha. Eva and I had a slight collision. The game ended and I realized that my eye was bleeding. Totally fine and made for a really funny story.
We had the best time and are so thankful for friends like this.
