Gavin not only loves playing soccer, but he also loves playing football. Flag football is our compromise. It also helps that he can play it in the off-season. The practice is right before the game and he really has so much fun. He played on the same team this year and his assistant coach also played football professionally, which was pretty neat. His team came in 2nd place and his coach celebrated by taking the team out to lunch after the championship game.
Emerson played Challenge soccer with Team Spirit again this season. Emerson plays multiple positions on the field and is often credited with the ability to be versatile. She is quick to pick up whatever position she is put in. She has the best coaches and is learning so much.
Gavin played Challenge soccer this season with Team Sporting. He has played goalie quite a bit and midfield. He works hard and loves practicing in the front yard in his spare time. This kid definitely puts in the practice time. He has really benefited from moving to Challenge soccer.
