For Labor Day weekend, we headed to the beach to visit Josh and the family. Casey decided to stay back because of the dog and he enjoyed some quality time with Hurley out on the lake. Mom, myself and the kids left after school on Friday. We stayed for the long weekend and had a great time. The weather was amazing and the kids enjoyed some time spent on the beach and at the pool. The last night we were there, we headed across the street to Baja to have a few drinks and listen to the band. The view of the sky from Baja was beautiful. We left the next morning to give us all some time to readjust before school the next day. One LONG stop at Cracker Barrel and we were on our way home. Much needed time at the beach. Definitely the calm before Hurricane Dorian.
