4 Month Check-up & Rice!

Mr. Gav, as he is so lovingly referred to in our home, is 4 months old!! Wow, how time flies. We recently had his 4 month well check and boy was his sister UPSET! Emerson was in tears the ENTIRE time. She's not so fond of visiting the pediatrician...to say the least. We had to keep reminding her that we were there for Gavin and not her. To no surprise, Gavin is a healthy boy. By "healthy", I mean he weighs A LOT! :) Gavin weighed in at 15 pounds 9.5 ounces, putting him in the 60th percentile. He is also very long, at 25.75 inches, he is in the 75th percentile. He is changing everyday. Hard to believe he is already 4 months old. He is making great efforts to roll over. He went from his belly to his back a few weeks ago. Going from back to belly has happened once on his own, but Casey and I both missed it. Casey had Gavin laying on his back in the living room. He ran upstairs to grab a new outfit....possibly outfit number 5 for the day! When he came back down, Gavin was laying on his belly!
We were given the go ahead to start solids. We have been putting rice cereal in his bottles for a while now, in an attempt to help with the spit up. We have been waiting patiently to start feeding him rice cereal, hoping it too would help. Well, Gavin in NOT a big fan. We have since moved on to veggies. He is getting better, but still a little uncertain.
