*Some of Emerson's favorite foods include yogurt, chex mix, green beans, apples(really any fruit!), spaghetti, and oatmeal.
*Eme's vocabulary has really changed over the last couple of months. She speaks in sentences...making it difficult for us to understand at times. She uses her manners, saying please and thank you, most often on her own.
*Dora & Diego! This girl is in love with Dora & Diego!! She sees Dora on tv and screams out her name. It's really quite funny to watch her...watch Dora.
*Play-Doh is one of her favorite things to play with. She has also gotten very good at putting her puzzles together.
*Crayons...well, we had a few mishaps...like a blue wall here or a purple wall there. She loves to "take notes" with a crayon and pad of paper. If you ask her what color she has, she will more than likely tell you it is purple!
*We have recently introduced Eme to the potty. We don't push it. We will ask if she wants to go "pee pee on the potty". She may say yes or she may say no. For some reason she feels it's necessary to remove all of her clothing before sitting on the potty. She hasn't gone in the potty yet, but she has gone standing right next to the potty! ;)
*Eme can count to ten on her own. She can say her alphabet, with our help.
*Her "sorry Mommy" is the sweetest and can melt your heart.
*Eme is taking 2-3 hour naps each day. She sleeps from 8pm til 7-7:30ish every morning. She now sleeps with a sound machine. It helps when Gavin wakes up in the middle of the night or when he is screaming during the day while she is trying to nap. If he wakes her up, she will put her hands over her ears and say "Hear Gav". It's pretty funny.
Gavin-almost 5 months
*Mr Gav...he's the sweetest. For some reason Emerson cracks him up. She can simply look his way and he begins to chuckle out loud. It is the cutest thing to see!
*Gavin is not the best at taking naps, but he does sleep through the night. He goes down around 8pm and is up around 6am, most mornings. He also sleeps with a sound machine.
*He is now eating solids. So far he has had rice cereal, sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, and apple sauce. He eats twice a day and seems to be getting the hang of it.
*Gavin takes 6oz bottles and is eating about every three hours during the day. When he is hungry...he lets you know it! Oh, and don't try to feed him solids when he is starving. You will have one pissed off baby and a huge mess to clean up!
*This big boy is rolling over now! He has been making attempts, but never goes all the way. Lately, we have been laying him on his back to run and get a bottle and we come back to him on his belly. Unless Eme is playing tricks on us...he has finally got it! (Post coming soon on the very entertaining back to belly roll)
