Never a dull moment!

So, I'm sure you are no different.  As you walk through the grocery store, if you have two in the cart, you are constantly telling atleast one to stay sitting down.  When I go shopping, I put Emerson in the top part of the shopping cart and Gavin in the back.  I find myself telling him to sit down or he's going to fall out of the shopping cart...more than once.  On our way to the beach, we stopped in Jacksonville to pick up a few groceries before getting to the beach.  I took both of the kids with me to shop for groceries while Casey went to pick up a few other things.  We literally just started shopping for groceries when it all happened.  Gavin was actually sitting and I turned for just a second to pick up yogurt.  Then, my heart stopped.  I heard him crying...the cry when you know something bad is wrong.  I picked him up and within seconds he had a huge goose egg and his eye was swollen shut.  I felt like puking!  I just started running...thinking the worst possible.  I'm sure I looked like a crazy woman running through Walmart holding Gavin (who was screaming) and pushing Eme in the cart.  I had Casey paged and once I met him, I handed off Eme.  I ran back over to the frozen foods to grab something to put on his head.  Long story short, we made an emergency room visit before heading out to Topsail.  The CT scan looked fine and we were eventually discharged.  That boy!  He is going to cause me to have a heart attack!!  The swelling went down pretty quickly and the shiner lasted for about two weeks.  We got to the beach and you would never have known he did it by watching him!
