The day has come! Emerson is now in 1st grade!! I must admit, I was not prepared for how I would feel about her starting 1st grade. I truly felt like dropping her off on her first day of 1st grade was harder than her 1st day of kindergarten! I felt a million different emotions. I was dropping this little person off, who seemed to have grown up just a bit more, over night. When I picked her up, she got in the car and said, "I know what you're going to ask and it was great". There you have it. She had a fabulous first day with Mrs. Walters and Ms. Gray. We are all looking forward to the year ahead.
