More babies!

Our good friends Arron & Kristi were recently married and decided there was no need to wait.  They knew they wanted to have kids right away.  What they didn't know was that they'd be having 2!!  We were all very surprised to hear that they would be having twin girls.  We were very thrilled to welcome more babies into our circle of friends.  Kristi's friend had a baby shower planned for her but the unexpected loss of her father made for different plans.  Kristi was devastated about her dad and we all felt so helpless.  We wanted to do something to cheer her up a bit.  We decided to throw her and Arron an impromptu shower the night of our super bowl party.  This couple couldn't be more appreciative and sweet.  Casey &  Arron have been best friends forever.  It was nice to shower them with love, in light of Kristi's recent loss.

 

 

 

Kristi was a rock star!  She carried those girls until 36 weeks.  She was scheduled to be induced due to low fluid of one of the two.  She delivered 2 very beautiful girls, Abigail & Caroline.  Congrats to the new parents!!  Those sweet girls are blessed to have you both as parents.  Can we also talk about how CALM they both are?!  Arron really surprised me.  He was super laid back.

 

 

We visited (with food, of course!) after they got home from the hospital.  My kids were in awe of the girls.  Emerson tried to talk Kristi into letting her have Abby once or twice a week for an hour or so.  Gavin really liked them and wanted to take them home.  Emerson even offered to come pick  them up, with my help, and take them to our house.  She has asked to go back several times now.  She was really good with them.  Abby was a bit upset when I handed her to Eme and she was able to calm her right down and put her back to sleep.  I was impressed.  The girls were adorable.  I honestly still have no concept what having twins, around the clock, would be like.  Crazy to think.
