Spring Break Fun

The unfortunate part of year round school...no week long spring break.  Gavin had a full week of mostly beautiful weather to enjoy outside.  We started the week at the park with friends from school.  They spent the day building forts, playing in the woods, playing soccer, enjoying an Easter egg hunt and eating lunch together.  The weather was great and the kids played hard.  You would think it would have worn them out!!  My child could go for days...I'm convinced.

We spent another day at the Museum of Art.  The sky was BEAUTIFUL!  I could have stayed out there all day.  We were afraid we wouldn't have enough wind to fly kites, but we were pleasantly surprised.  It was perfect.  Piper was my favorite to watch.  She would fly her kite around, singing, in her own little world.  The fun would end when she saw a flower that needed to be picked.  Down came her kite.  ;)  The boys were so funny.  They decided that they would try to sell rocks to the people walking by.  A woman told us the starting price was $32,000.  High hopes boys!

I thought this picture was sweet.  This was a Friday that Emerson was actually out of school and she could play with us.  The Friday before Easter.  We all headed to the gym that morning and then the YMCA park after.  The kids played for a bit before the rain came.  Paige went up and sat right next to Eme, just like a big girl.  Oh, and she helped herself to some goldfish.  ;)
