Emerson came home from school talking about a gift exchange with her friends. She wanted to have one so bad, but they aren't allowed to exchange gifts at school. I asked her if she would want to have a few friends over to decorate Christmas cookies and exchange gifts. She was so excited. She had 5 girls rsvp that they could come. We decided a homemade gift would be best. Emerson made a necklace and bracelet for her gift to exchange. Casey was gone the day of the cookie decorating and I decided to invite someone for Gavin, making things a bit easier for me! The girls came over, decorated their cookies and exchanged gifts. The played for a while before their parents picked them up. It was just a few short hours, but they all had such a great time with friends.
