Just a few short days before we were due to fly out, we surprised the kids with the news that we were going on a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas! They tracked out on a Friday and we told them that night. We were due to leave on the following Sunday. We were all very excited and anxiously awaiting our flight. Can we just talk about how crazy it is to pack swimsuits at the beginning of December?!
At the airport. We got in late and went straight to our rooms to get some sleep. The next morning we were up, and after breakfast, we were on our way to the Disney bus that would take us to the boat.
On the Disney bus!
The boat! It really is pretty crazy how big the boat is.
On our way to dinner.
So many pictures. Gavin was over it.
Cruise hair, don't care.
The Bahamas!
As soon as she got off the boat. She had to have her hair done.
Finished product.
We had to take a pic in front of Señor Frogs as a family.
Daddy and I danced, a long time ago, in the Señor Frogs in Mexico when we first met.
The water was amazing. So crystal clear. Gavin and Eme both snorkeled and saw some pretty neat fish. Gavin even found money and a diamond. Much to his dismay, it wasn't real. So bummed.
Back on the boat, decorating gingerbread cookies.
Pirate night!
Paw made a pretty good pirate.
This was pretty much every night at dinner (and we had the early service). She was exhausted!
We snuck away for a few and found an amazing view.
Before dinner mandatory pics. Gavin, again, was over it.
Views on the boat.
Castaway Cay, post 5k run, drink in hand. I'm just gonna say, Castaway Cay had THE best bartenders of any on the whole cruise. Holy strong drinks. Wow. The kids were able to go on a glass bottom boat tour with Mammaw and Paw while I ran the 5k. When they were done, we all swam for a bit and got some lunch. Bbq on the beach. Eme and Gavin loved the all you can eat ice cream too.
The kids were too chicken to try this out. Looked super fun. The water was a bit chilly though.
On the way back to the boat.
Pim! This was our waitress for dinner every night. She was amazing.
