Grandfather Mountain

Let me just start out by saying, we had an amazing weekend, spent with family.  It's not often that Casey and I are able to get away at the same time to spend quality time with the family.  This trip was a surprise to Emerson and Gavin.  They just knew we were going to the mountains of North Carolina.  They had no idea what was in store for them!  We decided to drive up Friday and check out Grandfather Mountain.  The trees were just beautiful and the scenery was amazing...so says my husband.  After visiting with a few bears, otters, deer, and eagles we decided to make our way to the Mile High Swinging Bridge. It was pretty clear that Bonnie and I were going to be chillin' on the rocks before the bridge.  Somehow my plans changed and my husband came back for me.  Conquering my fear of heights was not my idea of fun for the day.  Well...we'll just let the pictures speak for themselves. :)
