My 4 year old boy!

This sweet boy is 4!  My babies are growing up!!  Gavin went from a baby to a big boy in no time.  Ask anyone, Gavin is the boy that will melt your heart.  He will tell you you're beautiful, compliment your earrings, give the best hugs and kisses, and tell you he loves you...just when you need it most.  He is a great sleeper, sleeping from 7-8pm until 7am, usually.  He has pretty much stopped napping, napping on rare occasions.  He is definitely my picky eater.  He eats the bulk of his calories in the morning.  He is a breakfast eater.  Give that boy some pancakes and he will go to town.  Dinner is a whole different story.  He is not a big meat eater.  He will eat some chicken nuggets, hot dogs, and occasionally fried fish.  That's about it.  If you give him a burger, he will ask you to take the meat out.  He is really into boats right now.  He loves to go out on the boat, fish, and tube.  Anything that has to do with water really.  He loves to swim.  He will immediately put on his swim suit when he wakes up...even if the pool/lake is not in the plans for the day.  He is my little helper.  This boy was asking to clean the day after his birthday party.  Umm, shouldn't he be playing with all his new toys?!  He sees me cleaning and immediately wants to help.  I'll take all the help I can get!  He's not shy either.  He will talk to anyone and always has questions....lots of questions.

The Saturday before his birthday, we invited some of his friends to GymCarolina for a little birthday celebration.  The kids jumped on the trampolines, dived into the pit, and played with the parachute.  The parachute was so cute.  They had Gavin and his friends (a few at a time) "pop bubbles" while the others lifted and lowered the parachute.  The kids looked like they had so much fun.  They even sang "Happy Birthday" to Gav while they were all under the parachute bubble.  After playing in the gym, the kids came up for snacks and cupcakes.  The gift opening was somewhat chaotic, but what do you expect with that many kids "trying to help".

On Gavin's actual birthday, we celebrated with family at our house.  Spaghetti was Gavin's meal of choice and we had ice cream cones for dessert.  Time sure does fly when your having fun!
I love you sweet boy!!
