While in Virginia for the Indian Pow-wow, we visited Josh & Syra at the beach. Gavin is so jealous that they live right on the beach. The beach is their backyard. Josh and Syra are the ones that gave Gavin the surf board so it was only right that he try it out with them there to see it. Josh and Casey helped him out a bit and with sheer determination, Gavin stood up. He surfed a wave! The best part of the entire experience was the applause he got when he had accomplished his goal. Everyone on the beach had been watching him and when he did it, they all started cheering for him. The smile on his face was so great. He was so proud of himself. He even mentioned to Uncle Josh that the girls dig a guy that can surf....or something along those lines. Haha. That boy. Josh about lost it.
