Easter Weekend 2018

We started the weekend with something a little different this year. A ton of our friends go to a local church that was having a huge Easter egg hunt. The eggs were being dropped by a helicopter and we thought it might be fun for the kids. We had no idea that everyone else in Raleigh thought the same thing! Needless to say, it was a bust. The kids only got one egg between the two of them. There were kids and parents pushing to get their kids eggs and it just made it no fun at all. We all decided that a small, family Easter egg hunt was the way to go next year.

Random Easter bunny photo opportunity!

Easter weekend was the first weekend in a while that the kids didn't have soccer games. We thought it would be the perfect weekend to watch the NCFC Courage play Sky Blue FC. The weather was absolutely perfect and we made it a little soccer team outing. The girls got to see Carli Lloyd, who played for Sky Blue, and a few of the girls even got her autograph. Gavin was probably the most interested in watching the game. I've never seen him sit so still. We all had a great time and we will most definitely do it again.

Sunday morning.
