Christmas Day

After the excitement of the morning, we were off to Nana and PawPaw's for the rest of the day.  We played, we ate, and we opened more presents.  You can see by this picture of Emerson that something made her day.  That something was a gift card from Uncle Josh to get her nails done.  She was on cloud 9.  Eme also received a new jewelry box with a dancing ballerina and a new necklace.  Gavin received some new camo gear, some super hero hands, and a new Leap Reader.  He has been using his Leap Reader almost every night before bed.  He loves it.

Nana recently had surgery on her foot, so she was stuck on the couch.  The rest of the crew got to work in the kitchen preparing Christmas lunch.  It was so cute to see everyone in the kitchen, working together, to prepare all the food.  Gavin and Emerson even got in on the action.

The rest of the day was spent riding scooters, playing card games and jamming to music.  Great memories and much needed quality time with family.  Oh, and Gavin face planted while riding his scooter.  Poor guy.  Didn't take a day.  Nice goose egg on his forehead and scrapes and bruises to prove it. He's a tough cookie though.
