It snowed/sleeted/freezing rain this past Thursday night. They closed the schools for Friday. The kids woke up and were so excited to see the tiniest bit of snow on the ground. I'm pretty sure Emerson spent almost all day outside. Friday night the kids went to bed later than normal. You would think they would sleep in the following morning....nope. Emerson was up at 5:30am, dressed and ready to ride the sled. She was told to go back to her room until at least 6:30am. She went back to her room and started blasting her music...like no one else was sleeping. She woke Gavin up early, which is never a good thing. Saturday was long. We decided to head out to the movies and dinner. When we got home we were all exhausted. I think I fell asleep at 8:30pm that night. Sunday was spent outside most of the morning and inside with friends in the afternoon. Looks like school is closed again tomorrow...we will be getting out of the house tomorrow!
