Some days he works on the boat. Some days you see him on a call, walking around barefoot in the woods. Some days he's traveling. EVERY DAY he is working hard to support our family. Casey had a great year with RedHat and they rewarded him with President's Club in Mexico. He was nice enough to take me with him. ;) This was the first time we have been back to Mexico since we met, over 18 years ago. The trip was to Punta Mita. The grandparents pitched in and helped out with the kids, splitting time between both Casey's parents and my mom. We couldn't take these trips without their help and we appreciate it more than they know. We had such a good time and got to hang out with some super fun people. The resort we stayed at was beautiful and we even had our own butler. Having a butler was the source of many jokes throughout the week. There were two different resorts that RedHat employees were staying at. The other resort had a swim up bartender. This guy swam out to you to take your order and then swam back with your drinks. It was pretty amazing. We went on a boat ride, went out on paddle boards, ate dinner on the beach and enjoyed plenty of tequila. We even ventured out to the town of Sayulita to do a little exploring and shopping. The flight home was a wee bit stressful. We had our flight delayed several times and then they rebooked us on another flight several hours later. We were so worried we weren't going to get a flight home that same night. It was late, but we finally made it home. Such an amazing week. We are so grateful.
