Tball season has come and gone. Emerson decided she didn't want to play this year. She has the skill but there was no way of talking her into it. She had her mind made up. Tball is definitely played during a hotter time of the year. The heat was pretty brutal. Gavin would run off the field from practice to inform me that he was sweating. I got a kick out of it. He also hated to wear his hat. I guess it made him hot. He would take it off every chance he got. Casey doesn't like this age group so he chooses not to coach....he just coaches from the sidelines. Gavin wanted to listen to his coach but I do have to agree with Casey, his coach wasn't right on a few things when it came to what the kids should be doing. Casey played for several years and you could tell it started to get to him. He made sure Gavin knew where to throw the ball, where to watch, where the tee should be, etc. Gav did well. He has come a long way in terms of coordination! Not sure if this is a sport he loves yet. We'll see.
